The Albany County Industrial Development Agency (ACIDA) was formed by special act of the New York State Legislature adopted by the State in 1975. Its primary goal is to encourage economic growth and expansion through financial incentives, thus advancing the job opportunities, health, general prosperity, and economic welfare of the people of Albany County and the State of New York.
The Albany County Capital Resource Corporation (ACCRC) was authorized by the Albany County Legislature in 2014 to assist, among others, not-for-profit corporations that are undertaking projects that foster a well-trained workforce, rehabilitate and improve industrial locations. The ACCRC furnishes advice and technical assistance, as well as serving as a liaison with state, federal and local authorities.
